Because anyone willing to pay those prices has been seen coming.
Has anyone actually used this jacket? I'm tempted but don't want to spend £86 on something that's shit, even if that is a seemingly decent discount!
Edit: read a couple of reviews of other Chrome jackets and reckon I'll give it a miss.
Double the price of a half decent of the peg single speed that comes with warranty and not a baggy old steel frame with mediocre parts
Definitely not a bargain
These prices are a joke.
mahooosive bike auction ... sadly in the states but some wierd and wonderful bikes in there
look team time trial frame
some really cool bikes there!
Damn witcomb USA in there too!!
Nice large Rourke frame going very cheap here:
Near my folks, if anyone needs it fetched south?
Lot 174, Gillott.
oof. tempting. just up the road from me and the right size as well...really don't need any more bikes or frames in the house/shed/attic currently though.
I've got a Rourke... you won't be sorry, absolutely brilliant frames, lush ride quality!
can't justify it currently. maybe stick a link on the rourke thread?
Is there dedicated thread for all kind of discount codes?
30% with code STRAVA-OTE
For those slightly smaller in stance and looking for a TT frame, looks like PX have reduced the 52cm 'Sarto built' carbon TT frame they've had for a while down to £200 (at least it looks to be carbon, doesn't actually say).
Not much use without the fork unfortunately.
Are they proprietary? It's TT, why should I be surprised! Thought I also spotted the funky TRP 'direct mount' that's not Shimano-style direct mount too, which has caught me out previously.
Are they the same as the Specialized ones?
Yep. Someone on here offered to sell me some for a Shiv fork I picked up. Otherwise they’re a pain to find.
If you still need calipers, pretty sure I still have those Shiv brakes and bolts here. I upgraded mine years to the hydro calipers for the lejog attempt.
Thanks. Kind of you to offer, but think I'm more likely to pass on the forks... Current project has since moved on :)
A Homesbase basic lock but looks pretty okay for £9.50! It's not available for delivery, but there's still quite a few available instore for click n' collect.
Master Lock Chain and D Lock - 0.9m
Grabbed the two left in my local one. Cheers for the heads up.
Found some rapha stuff in the crisis charity shop opposite hackney central yesterday. Not the proper cycling kit but some short sleeved men's shirts and a casual jacket thing (couldn't find them on their website so not sure what they're called). Seem new or at least hardly worn. I picked up a shirt but the other 3 or 4 bits might still be there today!
