I keep coming back to @Alan_tbt ’s Minnetonka, and came across Barmah’s too. Barmah fold-up’s seem to hold some value on the used market.
Helped someone move yesterday and spent all day outside. Cue sunburn.
Gave in and wore the Panama in the garden today while working.
No slaves in sight ( @Fatberg-Dooks ), only one moron.

Wish I’d worn mine. Shifted a tonne (literally) of gravel in the burning sun and now I’m feeling it. Will dig out the Panama tomorrow.

Pretty much why mine came out. Gravel in the sun is a bitch.

Best source for mid-height trucker caps? Mesh back half, foam front naturally.
My last cap has finally disintegrated after about 18yrs continuous wear, was from a crane rental firm in Texas found in a shoreditch charity shop.I spent over £30 on a Patagonia one a few weeks ago, it’s very nice but the front half is stiff fabric, not foam so basically it’s pointless.
I have a fairly large swede so most baseball caps don’t really fit, only really truckers or presumably the correct size NE but I’ve never worn one of them.

Love me a hat. Can see three flat caps, one kangaroo skin Aussie hat and four baseball caps from where I’m sitting. Favourite is probably a waxed cotton BBC from Barbour.
Would really like to up my game and head to Locke for a bowler…..
Rapha looks ok but the reviews suggest it discolors quickly.
I've had a Nike SB one for the last few summers that I liked. I was trying to avoid the bigger brands this time.
