Thanks, never heard them before. Need to listen more, strong Helmet vibe. Having Tony Hawk on vocals is cool I guess ;)
Also not strictly - or even vaguely - metal but this is still probably the best place for it: the new Turnstile album is fucking great. Totally weird, but great.
And now a couple of dates in 2022.
O2 is sold out and roundhouse just announced
Hoping to pick up Tool tickets tomorrow morning, good times
It's a shame their not playing better venue's or more affordable.
It’s tricky, I’ve never had a good time at the O2 but equally I don’t know where else they’d play. Wembley wouldn’t be much better
They always used to play Brixton but they've got a much bigger fan base now of course.
@LongAndWinding 's Tool Army membership got us floor seats.
Saw them in a converted supermarket in suburban Houston on the Undertow tour in '93 and again that year at Lollapalooza.
@LongAndWinding was at the Brixton gig and at the infamous judo-flip Astoria show.
Been a long time. Feels good man.
Tried to get Tool tickets just now. Either Stockholm, Oslo or Copenhagen would have been fine by me, but nope. Not paying >£100 for some crap seat a mile up the side of the arena. Will have to keep telling myself they're old and shit now and seeing them in 2005 was enough.
Got tickets for Brum, only other time I have seen them live was at Download a couple of years ago
New Black Label Society is amazing.
Oh I didn’t know the new album was out already, Spotify really dropped the ball on that one, I still play Mana all the time
It's not on their bandcamp either, think because they signed to Roadrunner - maybe that's what's causing the Spotify delay too?
It's on there, they just didnt put it in my Release Radar!
one more on a similar theme :)
Yeah, they’ve put out a good few albums now! Anything involving Thomas von Wachenfeldt is going to be ace - have you heard his album The Interpreter? Might even prefer it to the Wombbath releases!
Space Chaser, sounds like Bruce Dickinson if he decided on a thrash project.
I'm liking it (I also like Iron Maiden, and am a bit of a thrash fan)
my word thats a strong start isnt it :-) im in - thank you!
One of my favourite records from this year for sure.
Yeah, loving this and picked up the physical copy too!
