Also Electric Wizard on the 17th
I want to see that but the £37 ticket is putting me off. I'm seeing Entombed in a couple of weeks which will be killer.
Music for the listeners, I've had this on repeat recently.
Amon Amarth tomorrow night. Should be a laugh.
Today I have -
Removed a volume spacer from a fork
Converted a geared cross bike to single speed
Changed a stem
Serviced 2 disc calipers
Changed 3 sets of brake pads
Changed 2 chains
Bled a Sram road brake
Changed some pedals
And listened to
4 Bathory albums
1 Sarcofago album
6 Sodom albums.
Your day has been better than mine
Hey I liked hemptress btw! Thanks
Their new album is really good, and they're playing the Dev on the 22nd Feb
Something weird with the output level of that album on Spotify, had to crank the volume up a lot. Ordered the vinyl instead 😉
Google tells me I'm roughly 1550 kms away from the Dev sadly.
It’s worth the journey provided you’re not too fussed about hygiene
We have a spare ticket for the Bay Strikes Back - Testament, Exodus, Death Angel. Next Fri, Kentish Town Forum - hit me up if interested.

Anyone else going?
White hi-tops are mandatory
what a fucking band. brainmelter.
They are very good live. I accidently saw them with @Clever_Pun when I showed up on the wrong night and they let me in the venue with my ticket anyway. Nice surprise.
They played here last week, totally missed them, was gutted...
Bruh. Sad face for you.
yeah good night that
gigs getting cancelled a lot right now. Not sure we'll see many summer festivals
Grand Magus were good on Friday in manchester, although JB now looks like a face smash of David Jason and Grandpa
I wish to see them at least once in my lifetime, fantastic band.
Meanwhile, new Dopelord for the doomers:
Saw them last year, fucking incredible show, the dudes are crazy good live.
They're playing the Boston Music Room on the 27th.
Thankfully they're playing in Budapest too, where I'm located, and they bring Taraban too, another great band:
4th of May, I really hope this one survives the virus.
Yeah they're excellent. Saw them in a small venue last year.
that bay area thrash gig was pony, if anyine was wondering.
i think i am too old
too loud == too old
But no shame in not being fucked to see the opening acts.
For context I went to a music festival last weekend mostly to see a single band on the venue and could not be bother to stick around for Nick Oliveri's Mondo Generator. But did catch one of the opening bands over from my home state that were pretty amazing - Duel - reminded me of a mid-90s Supersuckers in terms of energy. But 4 hours in the Underworld and I was done.
