If you hadn't already got a job, you could use that as an example of 'maniacal persistence in the face of absurd bureaucracy'. It's what everyone asks for these days.
I'm kind if interested in the reasons/excuses now... BS thread?
Supposed to rain from around noon tomorrow.
I'm going to head down at ten.
Sunday 5/1/14 - 10/11am
Hmm 2 more players and we can have a three team round robin...
in that case will do my best to get over there and will try to drag Joe out as well.
hope the weather holds or improves .
Oh, and I bring my housemate Niall (ha was there at the Kat`s party)
Looks a bit frosty out there - gonna delay my arrival until 10.30/11am
Sadly , sorry I can't now make today, have to deal with some of last night's unwanted guests. Rats in the loft :-(
I counted 16 people at polo today - everyone's New Year's resolution must have been to play more often. Great to have a thriving scene, and to see people (mainly Vicky) recruiting friends.

In my mind Dan just calls everyone he works with 'dan's colleague' for simplicity!
Zhor Malik just e-mailed me to say that the lights timer will come on at 3.30pm (which seems a little keen but I'm not going to question it!) and to go off at 10pm. I assume that this means we're good to go!
They were burning bright when I rode past on the way home!
This is for you kat, good job!
no ocean drive? denied!
Great work Kat. I think a lot of us would have given up a lot sooner with all the faffin' that was going on.
It's a shame you didn't managed to get it sorted before we had gone back to France, but hey ho
Such a back-handed compliment. "Well done... shame it took you so long"!
I knew I should have put the sentences the other way around.
Fin, can you change title of this thread to reflect Wednesdays resurgence?
