So the early red card given by Dean to the young Southampton player has been rescinded. ManU still keep the +9 GD that that red card allowed them.
Perhaps Dean should not be allowed to referee ManU games any more. Or better still, any games any more.

Was the other red card that was rescinded, so only a couple of goals to chalk off. The early red card was def a red card (I say this as a saints fan).

Yes, every game should be re-refereed until everyone agrees on an acceptable final score (and appropriate yellow/red card assignments) or until everyone just gets bored.
The result(s), and corresponding league table, can then be printed 2-3 weeks after each match assuming all of the reviewing and challenging has been finalised. Sports Report can still be broadcast at 5pm on a Saturday on Radio 5, it will just have a slightly new format where both the new/provisional scores are announced, plus the results of any games that have been settled from previous weeks. Charlotte Green will be tasked with learning some new vocal intonations to help people differentiate between provisional and finalised results if they tune in a bit late.
5% of all transfer fees should be set aside and ploughed into the grassroots of the UK legal system to help cover the increased legal fees associated with this plan, and serve as a useful reminder than we should be happy that lawyers exist and are here to save the beautiful game, for without them it would surely be lost.

The early red card (that was blatant) stood.

Arteta is a bit of a moaner, isn't he?

Also he’s fucking deluded. Dominated possession but the Villans had the best chances but couldn’t put them away or Ryan saved them. It took a deflection to score...

Lee Mason and Mike Dean - a pair of twats. Soucek did fuck all and didn’t deserve a yellow nevermind the red. One of the best players in the prem now has to sit out a three game ban.
Have some confidence it can be rescinded though going by the FA rejecting Luiz’s appeal, its not an oprn and shut case. Let’s see...

Mitrovic has to take some responsibility - not for going down, but for staying down, then getting up without a mark on his face

Dean had been an utter prick towards West Ham for nearly 2 decades!
Was watching the game and as soon as I saw Dean’s hand go to his ear I knew he would make a shambolic decision.
The same mane robbed us of 2 points 18 year ago that sent us down.
“In a season that is starving West Ham of hope they could take no more than a grievance from Highbury. Absurdly, in view of the fact they had lost Steve Lomas to a red card in the 14th minute, there was no rout and the match turned on the murky deeds with which Dennis Bergkamp helped Arsenal to break the deadlock with 19 minutes to go just when a 1-1 draw was feasible.
Highbury fans will relish the highlights, but the FA’s video advisory panel could be more discerning viewers. Dennis Bergkamp, turning on the left wing, swung out a forearm to fend off an anticipated challenge and hit Lee Bowyer in the face. The contact seemed intentional, but the referee Mike Dean let play continue and the Dutchman capitalised. Thierry Henry converted his cross for the second element of a hat-trick, scoring with a header for the first time in the Premiership.
“I think everyone in the ground, barring the most important person, saw Bergkamp clearly puts his hand in Bowyer’s face and pushes him to the ground,” said Glenn Roeder, the West Ham manager. “I have been to see referees twice this season and this was the second occasion. My gut feeling is that he knows he got this one wrong.”

Anyone who smashes Lee Bowyer in the face deserves praise, not a red card.
-
• #155565
However the game was a poor one from West Ham with them allowing Fulham to boss midfield and making poor use of set pieces, of which they’ve been clinical this season

Not that I’m a fan of Bowyer mind
Also Soucek is the plat opposite of Bowyer, considering he’s a midfield enforcer, I’ve never seen any snide challenge or him leave a foot in.

Lots of stuff. But James goal was nice. -

James is such a good player. The touch tp set it up he made it look so easy. I love how he looks to celebrate with the player who set him up.

Spurs v Albion. A game both sets of supporters wanted to lose in order to get rid of atrocious managers. For God's sake get rid of this fool now Albion
It was good to see Tottingham were following the government guide lines last night when it comes to being schooled at home
