  • Tottenham will never win anything.

  • it's been a belter so far.

  • European football returning in February has a habit of sorting the wheat from the chaff. I'm with Manc R in that surely OGS will run out of luck at some point. City are on fire but will Pep focus on the CL ? Jose has the nouse to win it with this Spurs squad and Leicester may have learnt from last season. The Prem is more interesting because the second tier of teams have improved no end on SAF's days and clubs like west ham, Southampton and even Everton are putting in performances that threaten the big clubs on any given match day.

  • I can see the confusion on the pitch and forgive the players but we learnt three things as 6 year olds at football club. 1) don't bunch 2) never pass the ball across the face of your goal and 3) play to the whistle and that included if the ref's assistant was flagging. So it is hard to excuse

  • I hope you're right, but I fear we will miss Vardy - not his goals, because he hasn't scored in a while, but the panic he causes defenders (like the game up at your place) which has created the chances for Maddison, Barnes, Tielemans, etc.

That said, rumours are the op went well and he's only out for 10 days.

  • City's to lose. Utd will surely get a game where they don't have a gimme penalty.
Liverpool, Leicester, Spurs to fight for last couple of spots.
West Ham, Everton, Villa and Chelsea to fight over 6th.
Arsenal, Southampton, Leeds tussle for the last top 10 spot.

Newcastle to join WBA and Sheffield for the drop.

  • Obviously I think it's a brilliant season so far.

Apart from VAR and shit rules.

  • The Everton-Leicester game tonight will be interesting. I'm not confident and if Everton get three points, they're right back in it with a game or two in hand.

  • City have found their form after being below their usual standard for the first 8-9 games. They will be the team to beat, one of our games in hand is against them and I'm not massively confident. That said, we've had a lot of key players out and Carlo's found a way to get some wins and a decent amount of points on the board. I'm not even slightly thinking about the league title, but would be nice to be in the mix for a top spot come march/april time.

  • Who would have thought that Turf Moor would be the place to go for goals and entertainment.

  • Might that luck be running out tonight?

  • Do Everton always park the bus like that?

  • Great result at Old Trafford.

  • Derby’s record looks safe

  • We did when we had injuries and suspensions but with more of a counterattacking gameplan, however we’ve got a few of them back so really not entirely sure why we were playing with 4 centre halfs and digne in midfield. Game really underlines how important Doucoure is for us.

  • They now have twice as many wins as we got so we still hold the fewest wins trophy.

  • You've got to wonder what compromising pictures Pickford has of Southgate.

  • I thought he was getting pelters from your lot... maybe they just didn't realise?

  • I thought you got it totally wrong and could have taken all 3 points once you went 1-0 up. No need to sit so deep with no Vardy, it was crazy to invite us on for 60 minutes with Maddison, Tielemans and Barnes. Admittedly the goal was largely down to Pickford, but the pressure was bound to tell. It was just odd given the talent you have further up the pitch, especially after we lost Ndidi.

Anyway, would've taken a point before the game...

  • Can somebody help me to understand why Zlatan seems to be getting a free pass on this voodoo jibe the other night?

  • I haven't read he said that if he did then he needs to hauled over the coals and fuck him. I've never been a massive fan of his attitude and shite.
I read he said something about Lukakus mum.

  • ' Hey Romelu! call your mother and godo your voodoo shit you little donkey'
picked up on pitch side mic and not denied by Zlatan , who in some arrogant tweet in the 3rd person denied racism.
I've seen it mentioned in the press but I think this should be dealt with and was expecting to see and hear a lot more.
Today the outrage seemed to be directed at anonymous racist tweeters abusing Man Utd players , and rightly so. However when you have direct evidence against a player I'm seeing very little.
