I think you'll find it's well established that possession wins games.
So you played good football watching others play football.
Prole isn't a Norwich.
Norwich looked fucking great against City, other than that........
Read The Expected Goals Philosophy by James Tippett. Actually quite interesting (although it appeals to me as a maths/computing nerd who plays football) if a little repetitively written.
15 or so years ago I read Fixed Odds Sports Betting by Joseph Buchdahl which was the current system-de-jour for looking for value bets. After a bit of analysis and playing with it I realised that bookies had since closed the vast majority of the gaps (and arbitrages were gone) and were hoovering up the cash with very similar odds and healthy overrounds.
But the xG stuff is an interesting story, especially how it has funded and fueled Brentford's rise.
How many xG out of real goals scored would you give as a review?
xS = 7.5
ActualS = 7
Ooh. So it was predicted to make more saves? But didn't do so well?
Is it Claudio Bravo or Joe Hart?
There is hope for some.
Something to look forward to for those with access to Amazon Prime.
Finish the season are risk CL participation.
I’d wish clubs would grow a pair and tell uefa where to shove it.
nice to see footballers thinking about the nhs as they reject their paycuts
I don't have any sympathy for clubs, they should pay, fuck 'em...
you gotta feel sorry for citeh then
they couldn't even balance their books when the going was good
What would be fucking funny is if the whole PL furloughed the players and paid them £2.5k a month each.
Not that I generally resent the money footballers earn, as it’s actually meritocratic and only blown up by external factors. A sense of perspective would be nice though.
I bet they're insured to the hilt and covered for something like this anyway, what do you say, @WornCleat?
What's shaking in the reinsurance game? Are men in suits jumping out of tall buildings?
Fair play to Aaron Ramsey though given a fair bit of cash to the NHS, Welsh health organisations and local homeless charities in Cardiff and Newport
Liverpool release next season's home shirt
Stay classy man city
If only he had worn a mask
Sean Ingle is clearly influential in the Liverpool hierarchy.
Liverpool’s owners have shown their true colours. Considering Klopp comes across as thoroughly decent and principled human being I can see him taking a stance that’s not going to go down too well with the suits upstairs.
Pep’s mum has died from coronavirus
Luton legend, and former Real and Barca coach, Radomir Antic has died.
" Liverpool have reversed their decision to place some non-playing staff on temporary leave and apologised to fans. "
klopp stood up for what is right, back me or sack me or crack me is the rumour*
^^^^^^^^^^ that can't be next seasons kit as we signed a new record breaking deal with nike for next season, thats a NB kit
