Where does a polo for £16 a day?
Hired a VW Polo for £16 per day (being sure to do my research on mileage limits etc) and got a same day return ferry ticket for fuck-all. Borrowing a euro tom tom and potentially picking up next week. If the saucy fucker pisses me about I'll have sentences lined up from my handy flemish phrasebook as well as a pleasant day in Belgium.

I've got a Humax 9200t (freeview PVR) and my dad's got the 9300 (updated version), know a few other people with Humax PVRs and they're all very happy with them - mainly because they're reliable and easy to use, also because they keep updating the software to fix bugs and introduce new features. Since I bought my 9200t about 4 years ago it's got series link and quite a few other improvements. It cost about £200 then so they work out much much better value for money than Sky+.
The Foxsat HDR gets very good reviews but no experience of Freesat as I haven't got a dish - if we owned though I'm pretty sure I'd get a dish and one of these.
Though I am thinking about getting TV again soon. Lived without it for a while, has anyone tried those freesat boxes? We don't have an aerial and can't fit one externally and internally it couldn't work (thick walls of steel, stone and concrete)... but we do have a satellite dish hanging off of the building, but I am not feeling inclined to put money Mr Murdoch's direction... so I've been thinking about one of these things:

My girlfriends dad works for pace (who make just about all of the big companies boxes) and rates the humax very highly can get more information if you want but his recomendations are usually good enough for me.
You can get tvs with freesat tuners in already (panasonic g10, g15 and v10 as well as a few others) but they have no recording facilities so if you want to record your freesat you need to buy a seperate box)

Will you swap for some magic beans?
Depends on the beans.
What claims are made for these beans and have these claims be verified.

I have these as well but the branding drove me crazy.
So I used a permanent marker to black out all but the last two Ms near the wrist.
They look much better now.
Nice gloves.

I was going to buy the mrs a slanket.
But didn't. She may get one for her mid January "I'm sorry I didn't buy you more for Christmas" present.
I got these bad boys:

Bastard! I would fucking love some of them but they 'only' go up to size 47 and I'm a 48. Unless they come up big?
How stiff are the soles? Are we talking Sidis or Shimano trainer types? -
