out of the large pool of ugly BMWs from the last few years, think it's one of the better ones.
That's made me gag a little. In M2 news the one owned by Chris Harris is going for strong money...
Saw my first og Khamsin in the wild 6 months ago, here: https://www.lfgss.com/comments/16449395/
Not wild enough looking for the Brunei Royal family though, so they created/bought this restomod unique bodied Khamsin which I saw today, which has a Holden V8 which sounds like heresy, and an automatic gearbox which also sounds heretical. But got to say I love the looks.
And the blood red interior is quite something too, seen on the video in the link in this: https://www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2020-12-12/cars/ref-165-1975-maserati-khamsin-resto-mod-sb/
Got to love Italian cars of this era, look at the size and prominence of the ash tray, get that in first and then we'll figure out where everything else goes.
Great download @el_presidente cheers. Really loving the Stratos and the 2cv
Ugly. Though that doesn’t surprise me that much. But it’s the total letting go of their own identity that gets me. Awful.
Hmmm. Tasty. Not sure about those exhausts, but pop-up headlights are always on point.
Dont think the khamsin were all that great to look at with my eyes at least but that is not an improvement tho .)
Love the red interior tho. Goes well with blue to.
A friend is selling his very lovely Z4 track car:
Any ideas/experience with e46 320d being slow to get to temp?
Anything other than thermostat being stuck open? I replaced it last year but the car has never been particularly quick to get to temp.
Want it sorted before winter tbh.
Had a full coolant refresh and bleed recently too (but was still slow to get to temp before that).
Picked up the Giulietta yesterday as mentioned upthread by @ejay2.0 - many thanks for the heads up. It is fantastic; the MOT threw up one advisory - corrosion on spring so they replaced both the rears for me gratis before I picked it up.
My XC70 is now for sale - 06 plate, 97k miles, very clean, fsh (15 stamps!), timing belt & waterpump changed at 89k miles. Noisy rear diff that will need attention soon & a temperamental stereo. £3.8k for forumengers.
C'mon man, photos of the Alfa plz!
Welcome to the addiction that is Alfa Romeo.
Secretly a little bit jealous...........
Was pissing with rain yesterday and I've been sooo busy today.... made sure I put it rain mode when I picked it up
the addiction that is Alfa Romeo
the addiction that is Alfa Romeo
i love it already - my 13yo son also, in particular the grill and the off-centre number plate
Pics & spec of the XC70 please…
"off-centre number plate"
reminds me of that joke in viz.
"pretend you have an Alfa Romeo by moving your number plate 2 foot to the left and giving all your income to a mechanic"
I've not had a cloverleaf but i have had 3 multair veloce Giulietta last one mapped to nearly 200hp, all from new and all been flawless. well almost flawless , if something didn't go wrong you'd take it back.....
I've done 100 motorway and B-road miles this weekend, very happy. I don't like the plastic gear knob, might have to upgrade that :)
Related, my neighbour is selling his 147 GTA. Got tired with how much time it was spending at the local Alfa specialist…
What a beauty!!
