sorry i should have excluded track specific pursuit bikes though i haven't noticed many of these on the forum or in london. and if you are that serious i don't think you want a profile set from ebay for less than a tenner.

i just went to the 'names and faces to bikes' to do a quick survey - so far i'm at 19 risers, 6 drops and no aerobars. although it could be that those that ride aerobars take them off before putting their bikes on the forum but i doubt it.

based on this i'd probably say you were incorrect.

did you then take into account all the track heads across the country who ride their fixed wheel bikes purely at the 'drome and the time trialling nutters who ride fixed? i would speculate that none of them ride risers. the demographic of fixed riders is far wider than the londonfgss scene.
