  • ^ 27.0 is 400mm long and will exchange for a couple of beers.
I think I might actually have a black 27.2, 350mm, slightly nicer (and also unused I think) but it's missing the original top nut, so has an M10 steel hex bolt on there, keeping it all together in the parts box.
    Both cheap single bolt/splined 2-part clamp/top nut-type posts.

Will have a dig around, see what I have, and post pics tonight.

  • Or in the morning. CBA after saddle rails snapped while riding home from work.

  • Pretty sure I've got a quite fucked 27 post you can have for a beer or 5 second hand hold if that doesn't work out.

  • law, rhb:ukashodgson/IMG_0180_zps0a66a7ba.jpg

LEFT = 27.2, 350mm, slightly nicer alu clamp. Some tiny marks from storage, but never been fitted.
RIGHT = 27.0, 400mm, less pretty stamped steel clamp parts. Brand new, with packaging, never been fitted.

A few beers apiece. Law has first refusal as he posted first.

  • I bought a front Planet X 52mm carbon clincher on a whim the other week, but have decided the money would be better spent on other bike things. I paid £120 (from Planet X, used but perfectly true) and now has a new long valve inner tube and a used Rubino Pro 23c on. Would anyone be interested in the lot for £125, or wheel only for £120?

  • Looking for a frame/bike for my gf. Preferably a steel mixte or compact style bike with 26" or 650c wheels

    She is 4'11"....

  • We have one of these if it'd suit?

  • We have one of these if it'd suit?

Is it the same size as that one? What sort of condition? How much are you asking?

    Edit: Also what size wheels?

  • I have a Thomson X2 Road Stem, 100m 10 degree, Black surplus to requirements.

    In very good condition.

It's in the loft will have to check later. It was too small for J she is 5ft 3. Condition ok for bike of its age.

  • Hey Guys, I've got some stuff to sell. PM if interested. I have exams at the moment and so I'm free for the next two weeks most of the time because of study leave.

    Here's the album on Imgur:

Campagnolo chorus crankset 170mm 53/39 has a few scraped but ok condition ---£20

Exustar EPS-R hardly used but a bit oily and with cleats. Basically look pedals so I'm told---£12

Campagnolo Mirage Brifters. Hoods are worn down and battered but works well. I had it mounted on 7s but It might go higher---£10

Crosstop levers 26.0mm. They have missmatched barrels but work well---£8

Specialized big hit shoes sz44. Working very well but I outgrew them. Used obviously but I will thoroughly clean them. NO CLEATS.---£20

Time Action Shoes NOS really, I still have the box Unused par about 10miles. 3 point mount.---£20 but can do them and pedals for £28

Dirty harry levers 26.0mm. One has no barrel but works still. R+L---£5 for the pair.

Black Generic 27.2 seatpost. Scraped on the bottom but new really.---£5

Additionally I have a par of those cheap fixed gear wheels with omega rims. Used for about 6 months on my commuter. still true.---£25?

Don't know of their actual value but I suppose there are reasonable? PM me or post if way too high or If you want to haggle. I will donate to the forum once this is done. Thanks :)

  • Anyone have a campag BB tool? I'd rather go get a tool than carry a frame about.

    This thing:

  • I think Betty needed one of those recently, not sure who she borrowed it off though...

  • I've got one you could borrow- like this -

You'd need to come up to Crumpsall to pick it up though.

  • Drew, I have one of these Park tools thingys. You are more than welcome to borrow it if its the right one.

  • Today, Young Will is the winner of the bullshit tool competition! But thank you for the offer.

  • Anyone got any 26" slicks going cheap, about a 1.3 ish, kojak or durano or similar?

  • Have you worn out the detonators already?

  • One of them, the centre strip of rubber on the front is coming away, I'd guess from all the turning and stopping starting use. I've glued it back on a bit but don't fancy risking a euro adventure on it. Rear is still fine and they have done six months which ain't that bad.

  • I was thinking of using them to replace my kojaks, when they wear out. I've had six months too but there's still plenty of rubber left. I guess I'll stick with kojaks or duranos then.

  • The single compound ones won't have the same problem, it's just where the central strip is stuck down, although I guess they won't be quite as wonderfully grippy in the corners.

  • Like the ones you get for free from any LBS?

  • Hi all,
I'm selling a brand new cardboard bike box, the dimension is 58*9*38'.
The original price is £19.5, now I'm asking for £10.
    Collection only, before Tuesday.

  • WTF its a cardboard box.

Stop using up all the good oxygen and be quiet
