  • Anybody know where I can get apple cider (Not the Hillbilly kind)? It's almost Thanksgiving and I'm making my Apple Cider and Bourbon soaked turkey. Mmmmmmm! But I need the Cider! Any Ideas?

  • Ikea?

  • borough market?

  • If only there was some means of searching the internet ...

Smart ass! I did do a search and everything I found was the boozy kind of cider. That's why I'm askin.

  • Any big supermarket....? Delicious Kopparberg.

  • There's non-boozy cider?
Fucking hell - you guys could fuck up a wet dream...

Blame the pilgrims. They were English.

    Non-boozy cider = apple juice?

  • Non-boozy cider = apple juice?

Nooooo! It's not just apple Juice, It's spiced and slightly fermented but not alcoholic. I'll be drinking plenty of alcohol on Thanksgiving and the night before at the Westies anniversary believe me! I'll be wrecked.

  • sorry we don't have that shit over here.

    Thank Tynan I'm not...

  • Know what you're looking for, can easily find it in ... Belgium.

  • What in the name of fuckity fuck?!?! Non-alcoholic cider???? Arrgh!
runs to beer fridge for comfort

  • Is the "ikea" cider not pear ?

  • I don't know about London but phone these people http://www.middlefarm.com/07_cider_perry¬≠.htm and they'll probably be able to sort you out - you'll get a nice ride into the sticks to pick up the goods (and you'll be able to get some proper cider too while you're there)

  • you, mr guapo, old bean, need to head to one of those yankee supermarkets.

  • I'll find it. My bastard flat mates dont deserve to eat this Turkey!

  • Get some good farm-made cloudy apple juice and spice it yourself. Guessing the spices are along the lines of mulled wine? Cinnamon, clove etc. As for formenting it slightly, chuck it in the airing cupboard until it's past its BB date

  • Kopparberg = horrible oversweetened chemically shite cider
get to borough market and buy some from the farmers who make the stuff
or head to morrisions and buy a bottle or two of thatchers cider the cox's orange pippin one variety cider is delicious tastes like the nicest apples ever
or just buy bottles or various ciders taste there are some horrors about but worth going through to find a real nice one
gaymers / bulmers / GL / merrydown all worth a bash

  • oh yeah and that kopparberg is swedish or norwegian and last time I loooked they were not on the list of reknowned cider making countries

  • Is the "ikea" cider not pear ?

    That would be "Perry"

  • thatchers also do a very nice perry
sample a pint of this fine brew at east drinks in the pub in the park on wednesdays

  • Breton cider is good. And it comes in corked bottles for added popping fun.

  • Elguapo, best bet might be to head to borough market, there's a stall in there where they serve mulled alcoholic cider, but I'm betting they do some non alcoholic versions as well...
