Will doesn't like being @'ed.
Ah, apologies
So the little arrow and line mark I often see makes sense now - obviously indicated level tablespoon. -

While Roman Catholic churches, in northern Italy mainly use the colomba. Which can be seen in the colomba shaped columns with it the churches structure.

Photo from the internets. Only chimney left on the, er, left side. Wood clad house fully intact on the right side. EDIT: Might be stuff that looks like wood.

there has been a case in the netherlands where some nut jobs introduced wolves into a small national park largely populated by rare native sheep- ensue carnage. Reading about the writings of the godawful ‘bronze age pervert’ someone linked to in the Us politics thread, it dawned on me that whoever did it must be one of these deep-green eco fascists who want to ‘go back to’survival of the fittest (as if neoliberalism wasn’t like this enough). i wonder if it is a similar thing here?
my wife was also curious about why the lynx were repeatedly, across different articles, described as the size of labradors. lol, because this is benchmark dog or something? -
• #92643
it's a go-to benchmark object, like Wales or a football pitch
-
• #92644
haha it really tickles me… i wonder what the labradors think about it
-
• #92645
I was wondering who has 4 lynx on hand, ready to do some eco terrorism? And if you do, couldn't you wait until it's a bit warmer?
-
• #92646
I only had 2 and a small one.
-
• #92647
Knowing labradors, they think about what food have you got that they could have.
These lynx seem to be tame, and used to humans. So think some one bought these illegally and got bored with them.

Wolves should never be allowed out of the West Midlands.

I won't be the tiniest bit surprised if the emerging reports of looting in Los Angeles eventually turn out to be wildly exaggerated and with few concrete examples passing fact checks.
My social media feeds from acquaintances in LA are full of reports of amazing mutual aid efforts, but my (mostly European) news feeds just can't help reiterating this weird right wing, doomer/prepper shit instead. It really is one of America's most persistent brain worms. -

Hurricane Katrina:
Will doesn't like being @'ed.
Which is some irony in this current discussion as the @ symbol was originally used as a secret designator/identifier amongst the society of Baker-Stonemasons who did all of the work on the foundations of important buildings using various formulations of pastry, pies, tarts, etc.
