Oh well, try not to worry about your 'straps', and just sit down and listen to the 'hit parade' on your 'wireless', write something cathartic on your 'wordprocessor', and eat some comfort food like a 'Marathon' or maybe some 'Opal Fruits'.

I had that happen recently and ended up in the back of a parked car, HTFU and learn from your injuries

'wordprocessor'
What is this wizardry you write of.

opal fruits: made to make your mouth water
I always fucking hated that, what a cuntish thing to say
-

You could follow up some Opal Fruits with some Minstrels, as they would melt in your watery mouth, and not in your hand.

I have to walk half a mile each day as part of my commute. Have done it a few times with clipless and it is horrid, not to mention expensive in replacing cleats.
-
• #14
what's the walking part?
will mtb type not work?
-
• #15
Greenwich foot tunnel. Maybe, but as I've never tried them it's an expensive experiment if they don't.

I sold a pair of mtb shoes on ebay for a fiver and you can buy brand new Shimmy Shimmy Shimano SPD pedals for about £15.. but you might have health insurance so it's a toss up.. ;)

Let me have a think. I do like to try and do tricks on my bike :)

• #21
wait, you don´t have cages?
-
• #22
I have cages and straps. Strap let go foot pulled back out of cage as I pulled the front foot up in the skid.

I just had one of my straps undo whilst riding. It was tight about five minutes before when I left the shops.
Sorry Ant; while you were in the shop I tinkered with it just enough so it would give way when you tried to stop. I'm a bitter man with a long memory and a vindictive nature.

I just had one of my straps undo whilst riding. It was tight about five minutes before when I left the shops. Trouble is I was going down a steep hill and was skidding when it 'let go'. The pedal hit me in the back of the leg and hurt.
So thanks in advance for the HTFU comments and I'm off to search for double straps on the internets.
