  • The FELT TK2 is actually available direct from Felt UK (could be very limited import though).

No price on the site, that I could find, but it is there.

EDIT: Price found - £1000.oo RRP.

  • Perfect, if only my cycle to work would pay felt distributor direct :-(

  • I propose a list whereby everyone who requires a specific list, adds it to the aforementioned list. These can be compiled by anybody [read: GA2G] with some spare time and inclination to help.

Can Evans not order a bike in for you? I'm sure I've heard Halfords can do this - I assume Evans can too.

  • I propose a list whereby everyone who requires a specific list, adds it to the another list. These can then be compiled by GA2G.
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha **HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!! **

Thats unintentionally funny, at every level.

Will_s87, the lists are a resource, and are randomly generated. There is no structure to their creation, except that the author feels like it.

Some like them (a lot) and some detest them. I think everybody on here can say that the HUBS list is really useful, and I did put some proper time into that, but some of the other lists are more really just for fun, and a bit of information.

I like structure (obviously), but most people on forums like this, don't. Therefore your suggestion is just a tad misguided.

Whosoever wants to make a list, will make it.

  • Oh yes.........would I create lists for what other people wanted to see?

    No.

Not unless, by coincidence, it was what I wanted also.

  • What about Koga Miyata, and Cinelli Vigorelli, are they eliminated because they are just frames?

  • Afraid so, me old coconut macaroon. Thats why the list is such a short one, as there are only a few Off The Peg built up proper track bikes.

Stonehenge Cycles has done something that I'm hoping other bike shops will follow, and that is to take a track frame and build their own version of a full on track bike; then sell it as an OTP.

  • planet x ones?

  • Especially now that theyre cheap
    C18 special £799 carony goodness.
With planet-X type A tubular track wheels

  • Good call dogsballs.

  • Especially now that theyre cheap
    C18 special £799 carony goodness.
The reason they're that cheap is because they're not OTP at all.

THESE ARE UNBUILT BIKES - WE'RE NOT OFFERING A BUILD SERVICE ON THE TRACK OFFER BIKES

  • you just have to put it together

    like your Ikea "furniture"

    I say it's still OTFP

  • I say it's still OTFP

    Yeh okay.....wha' evah!!

  • ***THESE ARE UNBUILT BIKES ***

So is everything else in the list, just evans, condor whoever put it together for you. If evans suddenly said they would not, it would still be OTP.

  • how much assembly are you allowed before it ceases to be OTP then?

when I bought my BMX cruiser, I had to install both wheels, pedals and handlebars, not to mention removing front brake, chainguard and reflectors. Tools had to come out, but it was still very much from the peg. The only OTP bike I've ever had, sadly.

Planet x will run out of these in a month or so, anyway

  • @RPM - Pedals, and maybe turn and tighten the handlebars, if shipped.

    @gizmond - Yeh, okay.......If you say so.

  • you are extracting the urine my friend!

  • I procure loads. Want some?

  • I think they will build them for £99 if your nice to them. But considering the work involved in putting together a track bike compared to a fully geared fully braked (eh?) road or TT bike I would'nt bother (the blogg mentions a BB instalation only price BTW).

PS. if flatpack is not OTP then my IKEA furniture is custom made, sweet!

  • the thing is, if you flatpack stuff you can fit more on the peg.

it's all NOT building up for '09.

it's all about ON The Peg

  • Colnago Pista added.

  • Bianchi pista, fuji track. They might be cheap, but they're still "true track" bikes.

  • Just added the Moda Forte. Its a new brand from the stable of Moore&Large. Made in the UK it says.
