  • Teen, I remember that a few people on here wern't happy about their visits there, but many and most, were more than happy with the experience. You think thats not a balanced comment? I'll amend it if you feel it warrants it. Personally, I was happy with my visit.

  • As it happens, I had never even heard of this map you refer to, so how could I have used it?

    fred, you're are making an assumption;

then a simple thanks for pointing it out (or say nothing, I don't care) would have been better than going on the offensive.

  • GA2G, can you add HARRY PERRY CYCLES http://www.harryperrycycles.co.uk/ - Please.
He will build anything for you if you ask. Old style shop, but with lots of nice new up to date stuff as well. Paul Mepham who runs it is a top bloke, time keeps at events, sponsors events and VC Elan and has even taken blind people out on a tandem so they can enjoy cycling. The man is a Gentleman.

Hey Ashe, maybe slightly unbalanced cuz BLB has no comment beside it... Just my 2p, cuz it's my LBS so I gotta stick up for 'em... I would die for those guys, even tho' they always tease me when I walk in the shop... ;]

  • fred, I can't thank someone for something offered to me that I hadn't requested, wanted, or needed.

I tried looking for the map afterwards for a link on the LFGSS front page, but it wasn't evident.

  • teen, BLB let me down with something, but I didn't want to make a comment, as I leave it for others to judge. I'll change the Brixton entry though.

My mate Rick in Cambridge , small but perfectly formed

  • I would like to add to this thread that Cyclopedia on Fulham Road are cnuts - they have stopped allowing people to use their pump.
Evans further down Fulham Road is full on nice people, on the other hand.

  • Hows about Pearsons? www.pearsoncycles.co.uk
    great folk, shit location

  • GA2G

I'm glad you bother. I really am.

  • Cheers Skully.

Loads of people find quick-access lists really helpful. Its only a true minority that don't like them.

When the UK gets its first blind, black, gay Prime Minister, I'll start paying attention to them too.

  • Aren't we 2/3rds of the way there (if you'll believe the scurrilous rumours a few years ago)?

tomasito, when I went in there (Cyclopedia), I wondered if I had walked into the Specialized shop, a la, the Nike Store, or the Apple Store. Its seems they sell almost nothing else, nor want to. I didn't find them very helpful, and soon made my exit.

  • Bike Lane Bikes - the only shop on the London list to have no comment - odd - I feel certain there is something to say about them. Any offers for a BLB one-liner...?

EDIT: someone else mentioned this earlier, too.

    How about

    Sell custom and OTP bikes

  • Hows about Pearsons? www.pearsoncycles.co.uk
    great shit, fok location
    Added.......with humour.

  • GA2G, you are truly one resourceful man
    Thank you

  • Antsiou, if we include ROI shops, then it will be shops from all over Europe as well.

We are part of the European Common Market, .........but that list will have to be for somebody else. :))

  • he just likes the attention really
One day Grenada will go to war with Trinidad, and a country with a 20th of the population will kick your sorry butts!
Due of course to almost all Trinis being 2nd gen Grenadians also.

I'm gonna stick your family on the sandbank just off Buccoo Reef!

  • don't forget, you were educated by us

  • Yeah, but my nan tutored The Mighty Sparrow in primary school. Fact.
Did you know your greatest is actually a Grenadian?

Ok everybody else, thats the end of the insider-Trini shit.

    Lol!

  • You can stick all of them on here for easy reference:

(Gold dollar sign = bike shop)

wtf is wrong with you tynan - I suggested this earlier and grenville had a hernia

  • If London Field Cycles sell even one SS or Fixed bike, I'll add them, but they sell loads of bikes, and not one attmpt to cater for the SS crowd....

Oh, dear. London Fields Cycles sell loads of fixed gear and singlespeed bikes, e.g. Lemond, Terry Dolan etc... and accessories. I know as they are very near us. Don't wish to give them too much of a plug!!
