i honestly never knew that he said that.
obviously i could have subconsciously appropriated it from somewhere.

i have a phrase i often use:

"if you don't go you won't know" *

used in response to questions like: what's that restaurant like? will there be bargains at the bike jumble? if i go on a LFGSS group ride will i get taken out by an inexperienced rider?

i bet some well known travel writer said that before i did.
