  • It has been upgraded with a Juicy Carbon 185mm front brake, and Conti Vertical Pro tyres, otherwise stock. Oh, and it is running eggbeaters now.

Not sure what it is worth- last one I saw going on eBay went for just over £800, although it was not in as good a condition.

I don't want to see it go to be honest, but that said I have not used it in over six months.

If anyone can give it a better home than I can then let me know.

  • Bump, roll up and get your festive mountain bike here.

  • Xt/xtr?

  • SRAM, X9 shifters, X7 rear mech, LX front mech I think.
Comes with a spare front wheel also now that I think about it.

  • i'd love a rush but i do not have dorrars for one :(

  • You can check with Tommy- it is the cleanest mountain bike in London.

    Bid with confidence!

  • Worlds least subtle bump- how much would any interested parties offer for this matt black/stealth wonder-machine?

  • wondering what L means in cms or ins for seat tube and a virtual horizontal top tube please?

I suspect the seat tube is 19" but can't hazard a guess on top tube measurement- worried in case I would need to use arm extensions..........maybe strings or wires

  • by heck its a big'un alright, that C measurement suggests I'm related to Shaw Tars, I'd need to look for a happy clairevoyant= medium.... a very nice bike indeed.

Would it shrink if I took it through a puddle maybe???

  • I took it (or it took me?) to Brechfa last year, and with the amount of rain we had it would have shrunk then if it was going too I think.

I'm 6'2" for reference- see the picture for the amount of seatpost that I run.

I am the original owner so have all paperwork etc for the lifetime frame guarantee etc.

  • Shameless bump.

  • Nice bike. Real shame there's no interest.

  • Ok, this needs to go now.

I left my fixed fear bike at work as normal, went to get it at the end of the day and it now has a large series of dents in the top tube.
Needless to say work says that it is my own fault for leaving it there, so no way are they contributing anything toward a replacement.

So the mountain bike that I do not ride needs to go to a better home than I can provide so that I can a) pay my girlfiend back some money, and b) buy a new fixed gear.

So to re-iterate this is around £1,700 worth of bike and I'm looking for as close to £800 as I can get.

    Roll up roll up!

  • Now on SIngletrack World.

  • I'm now open to offers on this- tell me what it is worth to you to be flying through the countryside in the sun?

  • oooh looks very nice would go nice with the leftie I have at the moment

  • Make me an offer and you can have a stable of lefties!

  • maybe time to try hawk this on e-bay dammit?

  • I've emailed him, cheers Smitie.

  • hi, ie the rush still for sale ?
    cheers,
    marcus

  • I saw this bike on the weekend - it's in great condition and worth 750-850 easily IMO.

  • Yep, still got it.

It's in West Greenwich if you want to have a look at it Marcus.

  • thanks, i live in polstead, near colchester essex but will be in kingston for a while tomorrow, might be short notice though. are you about during the day etc, price wise is difficult, i havent seen any of the older rush for sale ( theres a medium rush 5 as new for £800, and a carbon 1 2007 all xtr sold for £1250 ) is the matt black standard or done later ? do what weight it is ?
if a meet was simple somewhere it would be worth a look,
    thanks,
    marcus.
