not sure if i understand but i made some stuff for my bike once. a bash guard- 6mm thick alu, a brake booster (stops the brake bosses splaying out when applying brakes, hence better brakes)-5mm alu, and a rubbish chain device. basically a sheet steel circle bigger than the big chainring which stopped the chain bouncing off the outside when getting rugged. oh and i modded some normal canti levers to work with v brakes. not everyoe will know that normal canti levers and v brakes arent compatible and vice versa, the cable pull is vastly different so useing one with the other results in shite brakes. not rocket science but i was only 16 or so.

I used to mess about a bit with it, but rode pretty much street only. The frame was a sort of street/flat cross over a la SBC Shaman.

Don't some of it was dodge as fuck but it kind of worked enough to work if you get what I mean.
Brake plate version 2 worked out the best, looked ugly but worked really well, still have it on the front of my old BMX.
Respect to chugit's BMX frame
I quite like your bars brucy are you going to add a cross brace?
