not only a grea band, but cyclists as well, and limited edition tees of a great spriner of the 80's and 90's!

  • Sorry, but CUSM were (still are?) shit... Cyclists or not...
My old manager used to share an office with them on All Saint's Rd, nice fellas... Awful music... No offence... ;)

  • none taken, never take offence, every one has an opinion.

  • 'CUSM' sounds so filthy.

  • Oh man I used to work with a bloke in a bike shop who'd play that shit day in day out... He used to giggle at the 'Sex Machine' bit of their name and then go mess about in the workshop

no offence but fuck those guys, they're rubbish

Yeah, Les (Fruitbat) is a very keen cyclist and ex-London bike courier!

His new band Abdoujaporov is named after one of the greatest tour de france sprinters of the early 90's Djamolidine Abdoujaparov.

  • Carter were ace.

  • No, they weren't... ;p

  • no offence but fuck those guys, they're rubbish

Coming from a 'Manowarrior' that's almost a recommendation...;-)

  • Loved Carter back in the day!
I used to have the their 'only living boy in new cross' tee.
I still find it hard to get through a full album though!

  • Carter were ace.

    Carter ARE ace :-)

  • they may not have been musicianly, but created there own sound and did it well...great "live" if you can call it that given all the electro pre-recorded elements...I saw them three times...once in Paris when they were at the height of their career in the UK...but only about 30 people showed up in France...nearly all English.....nice chaps too.

  • was that when u were dating that black chic?

  • only about 30 people showed up in France...nearly all English.....nice chaps too.

Ha, you introduced yourself to all the audience? Well done, how very well-brought-up you must be...

Hey Winston, Les mentioned to me the other day that he was interested to come and see some Rollapaluza action. He said I should take part but I told him I have already retired ;-)

  • People might say they weren't up to much musically but I enjoyed their sound and lyrics which were unique back in the 90's.

  • Yeah, love em or hate em, you can't knock Jim Bob as one of the best lyricists ever
