Powder coating - Aurum / Vaz / Armourtex / Respray gallery

Cool cool, and @withered_preacher cheers, what does it look like nickel plated?

Was thinking of asking Aurum to add some mid fork mounts and then powder coat fork/stem and rack RAL 9007 matte to match a ti frame… 🤷‍♂️

I’ll post a pic later, off to work now.

Just got my steamroller back from Steve at Aurum yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it.
He also added braze on cable guides under the TT.

How much did this cost you?

I have a Pre Cursa i'm building as present for mate and need it stripped and painted similar to this, greenish blue / purple, or similar to my Omnium's "Blurple"

Also what's best way to contact Aurum? Is there direct way, email/ phone? Seen it mentioned here that a lot of people have gone down to or called Clever Mike bike shop, is that still the way?

I had no luck calling and emailing steve but David at Clever Mike is really responsive.

It’s nice, I think I need to straighten it out a bit though, doesn’t sit quite right mounted on a frame. Don’t have a current project in mind, so no rush.

I've given up trying to get in touch, I just let Dave at clever Mike do it, Steve seems to look out for his emails so you get a quick response.

I've just dropped @Simba 's new frame of at CM. I print out a bit of paper with the colour/RAL code and finish type (gloss, matte etc) and Staple it round the TT just to save everyone some effort

The powder coat itself cost £126 + 20% VAT.

Sorry to add another question but he's notoriously difficult to communicate with - does he do these iridescent colours as standard or did you have to buy it yourself and bring it to him?

Griff’s in Kingswood appears to be the place. I’ve not used them, but friends have, with good results. They know how to prep a bike properly etc.

Think it was £100 to have a f+f shot blasted and powder coated, no idea if this has gone up.
