Calshot Velodrome

I know we have Herne Hill right on our doorstep here in London but whats the feeling about getting a group together to try out Calshot indoor velodrome? It looks exciting in a kind of suicidal way.

calshot would be amazing. prices range from £16 -38 depending on the session and the day. I would love to do this, perhaps in the winter though, when HH isn't an option and we're all dying for a track adventure??

I had seen a thread somewhere mentioning it, just thought I would throw it open for discussion. Have never ridden on a track myself but it looks a bit of a laugh, if rather dangerous. Calshot tell me for a group of 10 riders it would be £119 for 90 minutes. Not sure how well that compares to Herne Hill, but I guess it has the benefit of being indoor.

so that 11.90 each for 90 min?

Yeah thats what they told me, of course you would have to factor in the cost of travelling to and from, i think its about 250 miles round trip. And whether to go in several cars or hire a big van?
