Got this today at Parliament Tattoo by Scott Move.
Nice! Cool design/placement
That's pretty sick.
That's amazing! I've got the entire back of my left leg done by Scott. I've got vague plans of having enough disposable income at some point in the future to get the back of my right leg done by him as well. Out of interest, how long did that take? He was unbelievably fast last time he tattooed me.
Thank you, very happy with it.
I time my tattoos (just out of interest).
This took exactly 2h.
No breaks or stopping.
Blimey, he doesn't mess about does he? That's a lot of detail for 2 hours!
How was it getting tattooed in general at the moment? Did it feel safe? I'm sure Parliament have got their shit together but it must be a weird experience!
I feel safe getting done at the mo, ScorpioMars is unreal spotlessly clean at the mo and very limiting on the number of people in at any given time.
Got this from @alien_ ink_ on Monday. Not as swift as Scott Move but was a handpoke and we were gossiping like old biddies all evening.
Getting my very first tattoo fixed up tomorrow to celebrate it’s 18th birthday ;)
Felt super safe (safer than the 50min comute by public transport to get there).
Consent is filled out from your phone, BIG spaces between workstations, everyone wearing masks.
Like being in hospital.
Nice, I imagine tattoo shops are probably amongst the cleanest you can be normally anyway, glad to hear they're taking it particularly seriously at the moment! Out of interest, how long did you wait between booking and getting tattooed? I remember Scott being booked up ages in advance, I can't imagine the backlog from the last year has made his waiting list any shorter!
Wait wasn’t long at all.
22nd of April we agreed on yesterday’s appointment.
Not sure how’s the wait now.
Oh blimey, that's a lot faster than I was expecting! I think I had to wait around a year for my first session if I remember correctly. I'd love to get tattooed by Kelly Violence at some point (to get a really, really old tattoo of hers covered up) but her waiting list is insane and you have to be lucky enough to get booked in on the one day every couple of years that her books are open.
I have a big kraken on my thigh by Scott Move. We originally blocked out 9 hours to do it. He did it in 3.
Know I’ve been on a bit of a roll lately but this is it, nothing else planned/booked for the foreseeable!
First tat got refreshed and added to to celebrate its 18th birthday.
Courtney Lloyd did it, she’s one of the friendliest and coolest humans you could ever hope to meet. Highly recommended.
Don’t have a before pic but sure you can imagine easily enough. All the red is new obvs.
Had this done about a month ago. It's a traffic jam made up of lorries my 4 year old son has drawn over the last few years.
Why does every artist I want work buy live in either Germany, Spain or Russia!?
I started a big project with @tonytych last feb but he’s stuck in Russia for the foreseeable. I’ve got a bunch of other plans but can’t pick an artist.
Looking for neo trad for some big cat face knees. London or at least uk recommendations please.

Same, I pretty much relied on overseas artists coming through London. One of my regulars Flurick would’ve been great for big cat knees.
Totally out of touch with London artists so keen for suggestions too; a quick look at the big name shops doesn’t throw up many names I know anymore.
Kodie Smith, out of Billericay Essex (a short train ride from Liverpool St.)
Here is my knee by him, when it was fresh
Thanks for the recommendations guys but neither quite what I’m after.
More like these guys.
@DethBeard how Was your knee btw?
I’m also still debating to go for colour vs blackwork. Is blackwork any quicker?
My sleeves are both colour. My stomach and ribs and back are blackwork. I’m thinking knees will be last bit of colour and everything else black.
How about Xam?
