  • Thanks @dubtap - that was next on my list to go and check out.

  • Is that Villa's title hopes in the one on the bottom left?

    The table doesn't lie, Andy.

  • @villa-ru How did you get to do that? I'm fascinated by cemeteries and catacombs (emo...), this sounds right up my street.

  • if you do go there - gimme a shout. i am 'round the corner

  • @hats - you need to be a friend of norwood cemetery (fiver) - they do the catacombs tours only occasionally, but do lots of general cemetery tours. I'm sure if you email them they can tell you when the next one is.

  • Not a reclamation place, but the Crystal Palace antiques warehouse might be worth checking out.

Aladdin's cave is pretty ace too.

  • There is an emmaus furniture warehouse in west norwood, always worth a look

  • Loving all these antique furniture stashes. I feel a ride coming on...

  • you're gonna need a bigger bike.

  • Emmaus is alright. The best time to visit Norwood's furniture store is when it's Feast. All the good stuff comes out then.

  • Emmaus has arguably the largest selection of VHS movies in christendom.

the stairs to the downstairs bit is actually made up of hundreds of copies of 'Teen Wolf Too ' stuck together with the tears of the innocent. #norwoodfaxt

  • This thread should be re-named West Norwood 4 Lyf.

  • Great thanks, I'll do that. There's got to be some perks to living in the shithole that is West Norwood (sorry greenhell).

  • This thread should be re-named the 'I wish I lived in Brixton' thread.

    #etc

  • Hmm, Brockwell Park Fireworks will be fenced off and cost £7 admission this year.

  • wut?

    do they even fireworks lel?

  • Your favourite U75 has a thread on it (about the only palatable thing on there at the mo). FOI request got costings - ie. a massive fence and plans which were up for about 2 hours, before the events co sent them a legal letter getting the drawings taken down.

All fireworks will be towards Cressingham Gardens - so in a bowl away from general view. Ticketed entrance only.

I'll just stay in the flat and see it from 25m of height glory. Or go to the reej and moan.

  • sell tickets to your flat. for great profit and win!

  • Nice... If you're a longtime resident on benefits who wants to take their kids out for a cheap night of family lelz, you can fuck off!! Nice one, Lambeth...

  • fireworks can fuck off all together, frankly.

  • That sucks, they are also charging for the south bank fireworks this year

  • Can I get a refund when someone let's a firework off in the crowd(traditional greeting of brockwell park or so I'm told).

  • i hope it fucking rains.

  • Fireworks are for easily pleased simpletons.
