Will all the shoes above be compatible with Look Delta cleats?
-
• #828
erm.. nope? Most (all?) casual shoes fit two-bolt i.e. SPD etc only.
-
• #829
Delta, SPL-SL and other road specific cleats use three bolts.

These are the most casual three bolt shoes I can think of.

But other than that your choices are pretty limited. Just get some normal shoes and deal with clipping and clipping everywhere!

Ah OK, thank you. I'm new to cleats. I'm a noob. Newby.

Apparently it's ok for me to mention that I have a pair of nice, leather, and pretty much unworn Exustar Stelvios in 9 1/2 (44) languishing in classifieds.

Really nice, those derby's, but yeah, £200 for a pair of casual cycling shoes is a bit pricey.
-
• #836
^ that.
They're never going to be the nicest shoe to walk in, nor the fastest on two wheels, and they're likely to get damaged more quickly than normal "expensive" shoes.. so why bother the money??

Anyone has them? Thoughts?
Oops they are not even in stock yet... never mind...

Dancing James had one, AFAIK he rated them, worth asking him.

I have a pair in grey and white.
They are really comfy, stiffer sole than sidi dominators and clean up really well. Mine have go really grubby and I thought the faux suede was ruined but soapy water restored them to almost new status.
Be careful that you fully tighten up the replaceable sole bits, I have lost one screw because of this but they are the same size as the ones on sidi srs shoes.

Why not republic?

Why not republic?
Looks like it's the same shoe but in smaller sizes and other color?

Thanks. Are they comfortable to be walking in?
Why not republic?
Yes, they are the same, just women's version and different colour.

Fine for walking in, for a given value of fine for a cycling Mtb style shoe.

Anyone interested in these?

These deserve mention for nice design. No idea about comfort and quality though.

Actually, might even be road shoes..

They definitely look like road shoes to me.

They last forever, I could still use mine, only damage is the sole is a chewed up from running them on flats with giant pins for MTB.
