To be honest, I think CSC rode this tour like a team that knew how to win it. Silence Lotto didn't at all - Cadel was isolated way too often (perhaps due to the seemingly poor form of Popovych?).
I wish Cancellara had got this stage though, between him, O'Grady and Voight, I think you saw a number of riders who perhaps aren't as strong as the rest of their team in the mountains absolutely give a their all for the team strategy.
What are the chances that we'll get a TTT back in the TdF? I miss them.

When a rider as rich and velo-politically powerful as Armstrong needs to order a custom-made Tour to suit his strengths.

hehehe
TTT's rock, though...

what a relief, the annoying little man didn't win. it's not often that i'm cheering for someone to lose. but evans has a unique effect.

Isn't it something some people give up to become time trialists?

My Voodoo for Sastre to puncture failed. I'll be expecting a full refund VoodooRUs!
-

Even with a puncture he would have won it. I think you have to get over it. ;)

I wasn't under it. I'm allowed to support my country's riders. I did, he lost (again).
Now I'm hoping McEwan will win the Champs sprint. -

The great thing about being English is that in most sports our contestants don't stand a chance and so we can just support those who have a chance of winning or who deserve to win.
For these purposes, Cav is Manx.

i think the correct nomenclature is 'manky'

The thing is that you end up bagging out the few real sports chances you have, (see Cavendish comments earlier) and then when one of your teams fails the papers rip them to shreds. Must be hard being an English kid trying to find a sports star to idolize.
