Me, trying the softly, softly approach when putting some ESI extra chunky grips on my bars. Cue half an hour of unnecessary huffing and puffing.

Have you tried the hairspray method? Or disc brake cleaner. Basically something which will spray on to the bars and lubricate them to allow the grips to slide on, but then it evaporates off without leaving a lubricated surface, so the grips don't spin. Removing them is trickier though

As above. I fitted some a few weeks back and they're brilliant to use. Get yourself some Isopropyl and install takes a few seconds, as per the video here:

Removing - Lay the bike on its side with grip in a jug of very hot water. Lift it up, letting the water drain and slide off.

Was this meant to be so arousing?

Water works fine for grip installation too.

I just don't get it... They won't have the vaccine because its "untested" but they'll use horse medication. We are doomed as a species.

That's been tested on horses for years, and people for what seems like years, but was really just half an hour.

A doctor nearly won a Nobel prize for his use of Ivermectin in humans in 2015. Over 300 million people have been treated with it since. It has been described as a miracle drug that has saved countless lives and improved the quality of life of many others. The fact this was for intestinal parasites seems to have passed a lot of people by.

Agreed, I only discovered it recently and wish I'd known about it years ago. I reckon if you had something particularly stubborn, cable ties and hairspray would be the way to go.

Coming as this does (for me) at the bottom of a page full of posts about bizarre covid "remedies", this made me blink.
-
• #26145
Ha! Same!
Cable ties and hairspray are not a suitable alternative to either Covid vaccines or horse dewormer*
*Not an immunologist, gastrointestinal expert or vet, so could be way off here

The irony of this is that substitute the word ‘Redruth’ for (its neighbour) ‘Camborne’ and that building really would improve the look of it!

It’s a possible fit for any of the tri state area of Cambourne Redruth And Pool, grew up not far from there and it’s never really changed.
there was an article stating that the us republicans are loosing quite a few voters in swing states due to their supporters not getting the covid vaccine and having a much higher mortality rate, keep taking the horse dewormers you right wing fucks
