Might see how much they want to produce another.

  • Why not a Surly? probably a crosscheck.

There are various of them that could suit?

  • Geared.

  • dont need another road bike ;D

  • Same hight as me, can't need a frame that small?

  • Talking about bikes with larger clearances (the dream machine does look spot on btw rogan), can anyone recommend some good 32-37mm tyres, either a touring with side tread pattern, or a fast rolling CX?

It's hopefully gonna be mostly used for tow path touring, with some road sections.

  • same height does not equal same size frame.

    Actually Jammy just send me this;

    http://www.calhouncycle.com/productcart/pc/700-x-30c-Almanzo-Road-Open-p3624.htm

Look very good, and a reasonable weight at 290g.

  • Nice tyre, was looking for something with a bit more volume, but tread looks pretty much spot on and quite flexible, and the weight is seriously low.

  • challenge have a very liberal relation to weight claims though.

  • But they do have a reputation for being good fast, if slightly temperamental, tyres.

Will check out more of their range.

  • The Challenge Grifo XS Cross Open looks more promising than the Almanzo Road Open, as looks the same tyre but a tad wider and claimed weight of 340g is still light.

  • Foldable rando's maybe? to save a bit of weight, they got different tread patters on the larger sizes

  • all this talk of modding multi tools reminded me of this

  • uh. now that's a nice idea.

  • ^^ But what would all the hipsters hang on their carabiners?!

  • That is fecking genius, even for everyday use.

  • I may have to copy that :D

  • I just have! Needs a bit of refining, straightening out the keys etc when I get access to drill and saws at the weekend, but looking pretty sharp already! Great idea. Rep duly given.

  • Almost done with this guy. For fair weather training and racing. Will go over with some more stickers and possibly some more paint but i'm pretty stoked on the looks to say the least. Bigger photo

  • love that Erik, very stealthy.

  • suicide stays
