quoted for new page, look real awesome to ride.
Thanks Ed, it is really fun to ride. Thinking of adding a rear brake, 52/16, want to keep my knees and put all the stopping power in my hands..... I know the build is not to most peoples taste, but north road bars work well for me, even though they look a little frumpy.

A long ride on Saturday should confirm or refute this, I can't wait!
Got a route planned?

Not yet, was going to see what the Rollaz or North cunts were up to. Butters and Rich might also be keen

Yeah?!

I can't speak for Butters, but it's a 'yes' from me. Need some miles.

Dobrovolsky [previous page], the subtle change is a really nice improvement, that's a really lovely looking bike. How does it ride?
It's really smooth to ride.
I don't have much bike to compare only a Look KX light (with ultegra 10s). But the Tommasini is easier , more confortable. I don't feel vibrations of the road. I'm really pleased with this frame and the dura-ace choice. -

I really like that too: beautifully clean and simple, just the right amount of detailing (eg chainring bolts).

So the Interpro I bought from bmx_fred a couple of weeks ago seems to have had its headset greased with some kind of hectic green shit. It's made everything fluro. I've taken it all apart and wiped it down and I'm in the progress of regreasing it. However, I fear it may have permanently damaged the paintwork on the head tube, down tube, top tube and forks.
Anyone got any tips to remove it? I have no idea how long it's been baked on there.

Looks like it was nicked from a bank with a dye pack ;)
Something alcohol based maybe, or perhaps citrus degreaser?
-

Looks like Dura-Ace Special Grease.

Don't know if it stains paintwork. A normal degreaser should get rid of it.

Dom, you can use my Isopropanol

Ectoplasm :)
Headset tool and headset cup remover just arrived, as did the Paselas.

elbow grease will remove special grease

I think the fluoro green grease is standard issue Shimano stuff. All shimano components seem to come lubricated with that. I can't imagine that it will stain your paintwork.

Same stuff AFAIK, Dura-Ace Special Grease is just what they call it when you buy it separately.

What's your target weight? Sub 9kg, or happy with that?

I guess it's Favorit cause it says Favorit on the decals :)

If I build a 1x10 cx/commuter. I'll use my current X0/TT-lever set-up and upgrade the fat bike.
