  • Those special magnetic brakes look awesome

  • I enjoy that very much joe. good work.

  • wow this is great! i happen to be building a machine in this exact colorway, but from totally different era, so we'll compare notes in a bit =))
    well done

    mystery machine sort of finished.

  • Oh my god the Bridgestone is so hawt Joe. Been waiting to see it for so long and it delivers.

  • joe, looks rad to the power of awesome. I didn't think girls bikes could look so good*.

*this is a joke before someone compains or starts posting loads of photos of no doubt good looking womens bikes.

  • that is indeed one good looking bridgestone
whats the plan with those levers?

  • what bars are they btw joe?

  • i will be continually switching up bars and stems with a nitto jag/risers for extra hhsb points, da/nitto b123s for getting rad and the itm/bonty somethings for getting some miles in. i reckon i'll get a clamp-on front brake for the hoods as long rides+braklezz= crashing.

  • what bars are they btw joe?

    bontrager ssr vr-c

  • fizik did a nice grey nisene and if you have a look on retro bike you might pick up a grey avocet or wtb?

Without seeing what it's going on it's hard to suggest..

    (grey flite)

    or get hunting...

I was unaware o the grey flite, although I bet it commands a premium. The saddle will go on a giant cadex with tricolor components, so something 90'sish is good. An avocet looks like my best bet, I'll head over to RB.

    cheers guys

  • I need a current project.

Apart from selling everything i own.

  • I took my Basso out for the first time, changed the stem into a Deda Zero100 stem;

  • the bridgestone in its current guise:

Looking great. Ive got the exact same set up on my bike atm with the sram levers, awesome

  • do you find those bars comfy?
they look to be a pretty good shallow drop bar in 26mm clamp.

  • to be fair, i've only done a day in town and then 3 laps of RP with them but as far as i can tell they're super comfy.

  • What bar tape? Looks suede-ish

  • What bar tape? Looks suede-ish

Looks like fizik microtex "soft touch"

  • I bought them as 27s, but I had looked at this and thought that the front looked bigger... perhaps the back was missold as a 700.. is there an easy way to measure? I know that the difference is only 4mm or so.

Tyres should have the size on surely.

Maybe was mean for 650c front?

  • you appear to be pretty tall for a high-school kid then

    Yep, 6 foot 4

  • Built up this cadex for my dad a while back, cheap and cheerful job but he likes it.

  • Looks like fizik microtex "soft touch"

yep, this exactly, wrapped shitly by me.

  • Just to double check that I have 1st dibs on the bridgestone when/if you sell it

  • And what do you think of this fork ?
Do I ave to find a track one to place even more Dura Ace or I let it like that ?
I'm in love with this seatpost ...
