Just bought this on a whim today in a french second hand sports shop. It's a bit of a mix of bits and bobs but rides pretty smoothly. Probably keep it built up as fancy a bit of road riding. Paid €199. Did I do well?

That's a fantastic bike for that money. I love the Look fork.

Total bargain and rare too. Don't see that tubing that often.
upgrade to Record not to Sora (Sora being a downgrade actually), that what you need to do, or if it rides fine, just leave it. -

Just finished the Quinn....
Don't like it.reckon it would suit bull horns or risers better?
-
• #31587
no. definately not.
the bars are the most comfy thing ever.
have them on my other bike.

front one.
perfect hand position for me.
Risers- shit.
Bullhorns, the same position as the hoods. -
• #31588
yeah i use risers, on my dirt bikes...
wasn't sure what you meant by not like, is it the ride?
thought it would suit bullhorns from a looks point of view.
that black bike looks wicked - is it fixed? the green one looks really nice too...
-
• #31589
green one is SuperPrecise's, mine's grey- just a phone shot.
Yup was fixed. now not fixed, hub geared. Its brilliant. Its the ride for sure, Its not as comfy as the gearie, nor as fast as the grey bike above. It just doesn't fit in the stable.
I think it might be gone soon, but I really like the frame.I find risers super uncomfy on anything but MTBs (and prob BMXs but never ridden one!)
oh and lo pros.

How is the rack mounted onto the seatstay? (the geekhouse)
-
• #31597
magic/ normal bolts, raised slightly so that a disc brake could be used if wanted....
-
• #31598
it's hard to see on that photo but it's mounted further up the seatstay instead of the drop out.
