  • Yeah I will probably fit the rear brake anyway. Have got some Christophe toe straps somewhere but I do admittedly find them a faff

  • Just swapped the white FSA seatpost for a Thomson Elite one too to get my saddle setback nearer where I want it

  • Built this Moser up using parts robbed from a Merckx I bought last year and upgraded. Frame was a lowball ebay offer that the seller unexpectedly went for. Its a bit rough so perfect for a commuter, and the colour/graphics are cooler than I first thought. Couldn't get the square taper BB out so that stayed. Murex stem. and Speciale bars rattle canned black to match. Rides really nicely!

  • Shifters could move up a bit.

  • The Ritchey looks so good.

  • What are these bars please?

  • Finished off my terribly named Big Dog on the same day the other terribly named Big Dog got finished off. Wahey.

  • But blacked out the decals of the terrible name? Looks good

  • Looks good!
    What's that silver front hub?

  • @si_mon628 taken off/never put on by the previous owner, thank god.

    @kjlem cheers - it's a Hope Pro 4.

On another note, both tyres went up with a track pump and no sealant. Absolutely dreamy compared to every other experience I've had with tubeless tyres.

  • Does it comes from you? (Soma HWYOne)

  • Bought this for almost nothing, tyres and groupset parts bin.
Had to buy a 1 1/8 straight through ahead adaptor as it's a 1 1/4 threaded headset, and couldn't find a decent stem.
Super fun ride, feels like a cx bike. Wish the paint fade was different colour, it's so dark you can barely see it.

  • That’s mint!

  • Wish the paint fade was different colour

You could do this to it:

  • In my quest to replace my 2x10 fsa crankset that came loose every 50km, I have bought a Sram Rival 46-33 crankset, only to find out it's 2x12. This means the chain rubs on the big ring when it's in the small ring.

Before I try to sell them on, what other options do I have to make them work? I figured a washer between the small ring and the spider would move it outwards, but the bolts do not let me do that, they're too short. Go 1x might be an option too. I need to ride!

  • Rebuilt the BRH with DA 7800 and managed to fit 32mm Marathon Supremes. Rides lovely with the plush tyres and aggressive geo with its short (97cm) wheelbase.

  • What a great build. 32mm marathons sounds great for touring or commuting.
Btw I saw Emile from BRH on the tellie last week, in a recap from last year's floods. His shop got some serious flooding to cope with. Hope he's ok and it's all restored.

  • Bought this Mercian a couple months ago to get ready for my partners birthday. Advertised as barely used, and the chain, wheels etc were immaculate. The cranks had cracked on both the DS and NDS, possibly from over torquing or use on JIS bottom bracket. Left ergo wasn't working. So replace ergos and cranks as well as contact points and some cosmetic elements.

  • Had Paradise cycles do the work so it would be a surprise to my partner and because they are excellent. Here's how it turned out. Might put on a lightweight rear rack and VO stainless guards.

  • Guards would look great on this. More Rando!

  • Great looking bike
