  • Favorite forum bike at the moment. Those seat stays. Delicious. (black chainring pls)

  • Stunner! The internal routing is lovely, makes it look so clean.

  • black kronos levers and a nice classic slr saddle.. i know it wouldn't be period correct but the turbo just looks so bulky on this bike..

  • black kronos levers

Orions are functionally equivalent (I leave it to the reader to decide whether that's a good thing) and complement the ghost-bike theme nicely.

  • Bought an Omnium New Skool frameset and shifted parts from another bike.

If anyone is considering buying this frameset, there may be issues with crankset clearance. The Miche Primato Advanced spider hit the chainstay with the recommended 107mm bottom bracket (the 48t chainring also hit the chainstay). I had to use a 113mm bottom bracket in order to get a couple of millimetre clearance. This means the chainline is out by about 3mm, so it is a little noisy. It is a new chain, so hoping it might quieten down after a while. Otherwise I will need the wheel redished.

I was also only just able to fit the 45mm Velo Orange front mudguard in the fork (I had to slightly squish it to get it in there). This meant I could only fit a 35mm tyre (a 38mm would not fit) so I highly doubt one could get a 40mm tyre and mudguards in there as Omnium claim on their website (although elsewhere I have seen them say 37mm).

Are you using a 1/8 or 3/32 drive train?

    Also what chain?

  • It is 1/8 and the chain is a KMC S1.

  • Did you get in touch with Omnium?

  • Post up what the response is from Omnium please, I'm interested. I've been thinking about picking up one of these to replace my pre-cursa

  • new calipers

  • I love the matchey flite on that!

  • Wow, that is wild!

  • testing the new headset and new wheels on a windy day (today)

  • New Audax bike. Did my first 100miler yesterday. Waiting on parts to build up a new wheelset.

  • Where are the mudguard mounts?

  • Audax bike

    lol wut

  • Audax bike

That noise you can hear isn't a loose crank taper, it's René Herse turning in his grave.

  • @Thrasher @PhilDAS

If it is raining non stop I'll use another bike. Bullhorns work the best for climbing and aerobars are the best for the flat sections. I find aerobars are the most comfortable position for distance riding.

I think what people think of Audax bikes are dated. Ride something fast and you get more time to eat cake.

  • Can't fault your logic @bjf ride fast eat more cake, bike choice seems legit to me :)

  • reminds me .. where is @hippy ?!?

  • where is @hippy ?

In a land down under, I believe.

  • Ignore the haters, this is the greatest audax bike eva

  • Did my first 100miler yesterday

Oof I would die on a bike like that :P
