  • Is this what the land of sand has reduced you to?

    Cheetos are taaaaaaaaasty... ;)

  • poor roti lady.

There was a fucking queue, bitch...

  • Of all the places to eat in Brixton hipster market I chose a place called the joint. Had ribs. They where rubbish. Pulled pork sandwiches looked much better. Dissapointed.

  • Avoid that shizzle, go native...

  • the black heart in camden delivars.
what's the name of the italian boss that runs the meatfest there?

  • Current status: Watching "Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home". They are so cute cooking together. I love their passion for food and it is interesting to think how much they changed American cooking/tastes.

I recommend Jacques Pepin's autobiography. Very good read.

  • My parents have rhubarb in their garden. Mother made some delicious crumb. It's not easy to resist more tasters but I'm on a no-cake-diet.

  • Brought a couple of coconuts home from work. What should I do with them?

  • Do a great song and dance routine with them?

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts (Merv Griffin) - YouTube

  • Whilst wearing this of course

  • Heh...

This is a good site on breaking the coconut down in to three different products.

I must admit I'd never thought about Coconut Essence before.

  • There was a fucking queue, bitch...

Which is the roti lady? I've been keeping a look out since you mentioned it before.

Is it a van on Brixton Station Road?

I went to Seven again last night, I like Seven. I got some abuse for admitting I went there last time, but fuck it, the food and drinks are really good and the prices aren't too bad either.

  • She's in a chicken shop at the top of Station Road now, just down from San Milano...

  • Her mixed veg dahl puri is incredible...

  • Ace.

What do you make of Seven, TS, being a (part?) Spaniard yourself? It's quite southern Spain focused and the cocktails aren't Spanish at all.

Her prices are incredible as well (for London anyway).

TBH Indian and Pakistani food over here is incredibly good and ridiculous good value for money. A meal for 2 with starters and lassies for under a tenner.

  • do they come with chips?

  • Ace.

    I refuse to eat/drink there...

  • TS is too OG for any of the new breed of Brixton hostelries.

For what it's worth, I've been a regular at seven since they opened. They guys who ruin it are really sound, the space is great and constantly being changed and updated, the food and drink ate brilliant and the prices are very competitive.

The only problem I have with it is that at the weekend it is like a little clapham. Full of twats that are more like me then Joe.

I'm more let down by your spelling
