What's with the traffic lately ?

have i missed something ?
Edgware road and Marylebone road and Euston road,
my daily commute,
seems to be hellish in the last few days, so much more traffic than usual.
Is there a road closed somewhere cos i ain't heard nothing about it ?

Gas main being replaced on Marylebone Road, two lanes closed westbound between Albany Street junction and Park Crescent junction, has been causing tailbacks all the way back down Euston Road to Kings Cross lately. Don't know when it's scheduled to be done, but it's been going on about a week.

East to west this week has been a dream, well quiet, especially bottom of Bethnal Breen rd and Old St?

aha, right, i kinda cut most of marylebone by cutting through Regents park, that's probably why i missed it.
Traffic is crazy though, avoid that area if you can chaps.

Holborn cross wtf... that 'surface' (read: more hole than road) has been like that for weeks and weeks with no actual workers there that I can see, with the lights moved back and whatnot. Its horrible.

I might start skating to work again, leave the bike for purely pleasure.

Encountered a proper knobber on a scooter a few days back, nearly taking out cyclists as he weaved in and out of traffic, under taking... right cock he was. A fixed rider was having a right barney with him, dunno if he comes on here?
