  • My experience was variable as well. I spent a big lump on a Ti bike and was a bit underwhelmed by the service I got afterwards. Again, it was good one time and poor the next. As a result, I didn't bother going back in after a year or so.

They had some nice stuff and some skilled people so I'm sad to see the place go - hope a buyer is found to take it on.

  • "enjoy your FUCKING TREK!

    Really? What a tool

  • I bought a Trek from them in the mid 90s. And a Marin.

  • do not take your bike into the shop

  • ah, that possibly explains the closed look of the place on a Friday lunchtime a couple of weeks back. had to take 45 quids worth of business to a shop i would rather not have had to.

i always quite liked the place.

  • bunch of fuckin' amateurs. 11 years ago I took my fixed gear ride in for repairs, the next day they called me up and asked me to remove my ride as it was taking up space in their workshop. They refused to do the repairs as they wanted the space for geared bikes.
