  • I've got a Joe Blow track pump for home and some piece of shit small one for my bag that I want to replace. Thing is that I've snapped a couple of valves off due to over exuberent mini-pumping (no, Murtle and Dogs, not a small person pumping), so I'm thinking about getting a mini with the fold out foot and flexible hose.

Anyone had any good experiences, or can recommend me a pump?

  • nope

  • Brilliant. You're a wealth of usefulness today, aren't you?

Did you all stay until the bitter end last night?

    :p

  • of course :)

  • I've herd reelly good things about the topeak road morph - but I don't have one yet..

  • See Murt, it's not difficult, is it?

    :p

Cheers, Prav, I'll have a look at that.

  • Prav, did you say Morph?

  • (I've got this and it's shit)

  • JIm, Thanks for bringing back some of my childhood telly memories.. :-)
Didn't he live in a wooden box? with another dude? hmm...

    No that's these two:

  • Anyone had any good experiences, or can recommend me a pump?

I bought one a couple of years ago. Blew about £35 on it if I remember correctly, but then its never let me down. Attach it, pump pump pump, remove it and ride off on inflated tire... Just dug it out of my bag, but all the decals have rubbed off so I have no idea who made it! Is a bit large, but not very heavy, and is easily swallowed into the bottom of my timfuktu bag. I'll happily sacrifice a bit of size for peace of mind tho, and it will get your tires up to 95 psi or so.

Pretty sure it's this one (£27.99 now grrr):

  • No, no, no...

    hehe, you've seen it now!

  • I've seen it too

What worries me most is how much you like it, Dale...

Morph's mate was called Chad. And he was an ivory colour, and a proper little cunt

  • Let me get this right, VB, you're recommending that I get 'Pump' by Aerosmith?

  • i have a zefal air profil. it's small and it pumps ok in a pinch.

  • crank brothers got a good one - no?

Found it to be a bit shit really.
Can't get enough pressure by a long shot.
It's tempting to just lug a track pump in the Archie.

  • Topeak Mini Morph. Small, does the job... well.

  • I've herd reelly good things about the topeak road morph - but I don't have one yet..

yep, it's the bee's knees. I got one, don't have a track pump - I get 120psi when I wants it no probs. about £25 well spent. Only thing that's a bit shonky is the foot lever, the one on my last (stolen) pump snapped, I've been more careful now. Still worked broken though. and it's a bit bulky, so what? get a bigger bag!

  • oh, and you'd need to be a 3 year old with surgically enhanced vision to read the pressure guage, just to warn you. take a magnifying glass.
