Hey VB, could you make it so that there is more of an incentive to log in?

On the old software, if you didn't log in, you wouldn't be directed to the new posts on a thread, it would just open up at the top, so logging in made it just easier to get around the site, and to post more spontaneously.

With this software, I think the site keeps a cookie on my computer so whether I open them logged in or off makes no difference to how threads are viewed.

It's very hard for me to debug private messages. I have no access to yours at all, and cannot reproduce the bug. Can you take a screenshot and email me it?

That one I can't do. Well, I can but it adds a lot of queries to the page so I'm hesitant about doing it until everything has settled fully. I want to see how busy we're going to be and how much load on the server there is before I add something that could slow the forum down.

don't mean to seem stupid, but how do I update a thread title, can't seem to find any buttons to do so, want to tweak the date for the south london drinks rather than start a whole new thread?

When clicking on someones user ID, is it possible to open a new tab when selecting any of the options from the drop down menu that I've copied below.

yeah, usually if you go to advanced and change the heading it does it, but not on here?!?

one thing i miss from the old forum - the fact that the original post date was displayed next to the OP's name, under the thread title. was just kinda nice to see at a glance what is brand spankin new, what has been going for ages, and what was very recently brought back from the dead... could something like that be relatively easily included here?
