I like that this design choice guarantees that either your top tube or your fork is covered in a Hungarian flag.

Used to have a customer with a LARGE collection of classic UK made road/track bikes, offshore oil + gas person so would spend a lot of time bidding for stuff when at sea, then bring all his new treasure to us and get it assembled.
MOST of the time he would build sensible, correct period, right date, right looking kind of bikes, but will never forget when he brought in a 1930's pathe frameset that looked like it had been in canal, sent it away to Bob jacksons to be cut down to sort of fit 700c on it. Then Argos or similar for some kind of a wild paint job, then fitted a new campag record EPS ground (green edition when they first came out?) and some Bora wheels to it. Groupset was £3.xK, wheels were a few, same again in frame cutting and shutting and then some time for us.
Most gross bike I've ever seen, handled even worse than it looked, a true waste of money. -

I'm trying to figure out why this looks so bad... It's not just the saddle and cockpit, somehow the geo looks odd

It’s like it was made by AI

At a glance: it's quite a small frame and the head angle looks quite slack, which might be to avoid toe-overlap due to the small frame. The BB also looks very low, which is odd.

I think we're talking about different bikes.

Slack hta, low bb, that’s just ‘modern’ geometry innit?

Not a fan of the saddle, but otherwise in a weird kind of way, I don't hate it...

Cables!!

The bag being strapped over top of them? With hydro hose/compressionless brake and pretty much any gear cable that should be fine no?
Looks like the strap that's covering the 'Fairlight' branding is also partially covering a ziptie cable guide so going under the cables isn't really an option.

Looks like an exposed gear cable on the down tube, going slack cos it’s being held by the frame bag straps. It’s not that big a deal for a photoshoot.. But I think shifting will be compromised in use 😆. And it does look a bit nooby ;)
My goodness. I guess having a bike that ugly is as good an incentive to be super fast as any. Nobody can see (and judge) you if you're smashing it along.
