A good long descale sorted out my machine a treat. The shower screen holder bolts live to fight (me) another day.

I've rounded the screw that holds the shower screen on to my gaggia classic. Any tips? Am I going to have to drill it out?

Can you slot it and use a flat head on it?

Drill it out I reckon, those screw heads are fairly small, not sure what else would work

Will get one at the weekend, but it's a small screw and pretty mangled now. I suspect it will be a drill job, but was hoping someone had discovered a special new technique before I went that way.

Hi coffee heads. I've finally sorted out my gaggia classic. Upgraded pump, new gasket and shower screen and thorough scrub and descale. The coffee is tasting better than ever, but could it be better?

Got my eye on one of these:

A brass shower head for £17. Will it make my esspresso even better and if so, why?

It will hold the temperature for longer and more evenly.
