I think these are the ones:
BB386EVO - what fucking bottom bracket do I need to use with Shimano cranks?
I don't want to use an adapter inside the BB. When I had a bb30, I used the praxis thing.
(I've got my eyes on a 105 groupset going on the frame I have)
Anyone got any experience with the screw together "pressfit" BBs? Need to replace a BB86 and it's appealing in that I wouldn't need to get my hammer out to extract the BB when it needs changing next time but that's only if it's not a stupid idea when in actual use
How can I replace mine free hub Shimano FH-RM70 to do it fixed? 32 holes, need delivery to Germany, pls, have you any ideas? Budget close to 30€
Removing the outer of a triple (forum favourite Shimano 6603) to make a sub-compact. If I am going without a bash/ chain guard to replace it, I assume I need new chainring bolts? Stridsland specials?
I've used the Token 7 in 1 BB and switched between bb386, bb30 and GXP cranks no problem. I replaced the bearings once, and wasnt too difficult. I do have a bearing extractor tool though, that is a little bit more sophisticated than a hammer, but not much!
very tight clearance on a 7vrn frame with a 111mm Campag Record crankset and BB.
115mm ISO seem to be available... is 2mm a side enough!? looks super close and some small marks from the previous owner on the chainstays.
But going over 117 seems a lot on a track bike!
