Mine's quite long...

it will probably vary, the average will be about 4-6 in higher then the seat if i remember.

Heh, that's just what all the ladies tell me. They also say it's a nice head so I guess you know what you're talking about!

your favourite scott yeah...i thought about a 'sunday special'....kinda like an arrow quiver but longer...with a decent strap...just to hold mallets,and a tube pocket to hold a few balls that opens on both ends to make it easy to get them out....:)
for when you don't need to take owt else...just a lil fun project really.
but nobody wants to give me measurements....:(

Just another idea for you... you could always make a custom strap/tube that holds mallet to side of top tube and head of mallet sticking slightly in fron of head tube. May have problem catching mallet head on brake cables, but it's an alternative for those who don't want something high on their back. Could just keep the balls in a ninja then ;)

i was thinking the same thing earlier - might try to see prove how amazing scott's skills are at some point by doing some of my own sewing

It's great to see so many people with imagination on lfgss, and I love to see a job done well. I new you'd have that angle covered already Scott, so it wasn't worth me mentioning it ;)
