This is tidy
Really? I reckon it looks great. What would you have gone for?
Is that not standard on a Goldline?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder etc but I’d have gone for Cinelli 1R or Shimano AX... Nitto even...
How has a high-end frame received such crappy components
All would have been nice. I went for the murex because it suits the age of the frame, matched the bars I had and most importantly, is a 2 bolt clamp stem.
Tidy looking. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254533709952
My 653 is a couple of days from finishing. It looks so so good.
Getting there. Finishing to do tomorrow.
Very nice! Seatpost is a nice neo classic, stem not so much (too many surfaces going on). An old stock 3ttt Motus or 3ttt Evol would look miles better on this.
If i see one I will change it I think. But it's nice to have all the matching deda and a 2 bolt stem.
Got it finished today. It is stunning!
what a beauty! chapeau
London folks. This looks very very good. Too big for me sadly.
Ex pro bike. AA special
switched all the parts from this one
to this one
going to da7700 the 731OS, it's stripped right down now just a frame and a pair of forks, all ready to start putting nice geared stuff back on
here' s the herd minus the two bikes i am currently building the 653 and the 731
Damn fine herd you got there... been looking for a white AA special in 56cm for a while... they look in great shape! 👍🏻👍🏻
You rode past me in East Village on this on Sunday (?) morning - looked lovely. I sort of muttered your forum name instead of DAS!
I'd love one n of those 731 frames.
Got my aa specials place on the wall sorted. Under a print of the catalogue from the model year. Sad I know....but makes me happy
Finally got the TVM 731 os out of its box. NOS
Damn! Will you build it up?
Looks like wheels might have been fitted as some point though.
In two minds. It’s a bike and should be ridden and sure very nicely. On the other hand can’t be many around like this anymore. I’d like to put it on wall for the time being but other half not very up for that.
That has blown me away. What a find! I say build it with modern 12 speed campag and ride it on the two hottest days of the year. Its too nice to keep it indoors
The man from bicicletta vintage has this up for sale. Another 731
