We should meet all the time on the commute, I was about 5 min behind average today.

I was only there on the Saturday because I fancied going round the course to see what it was like as I was in the area.

How did @Howard do? Seems like a great challenge. Maybe see you there next year.

He did well, it was his first solo enduro event.

He suggested that we do it as a mixed pair next year. Better learn to XC I think (and get another bike)!

What did you think of the course?

It was fun, for about six hours...

Drops, single speed and 32c tyres so some points were challenging, there were some fun climbs and a couple of hairy descents around mile 2 I think but I did really enjoy it. Some of the surface was super soft and covered with pine needles when I rode through and fuck me that stuff is slow and draggy. Would not fancy pedalling over that after hours in the saddle!
