1" integrated (chrome) forks

anyone know where i can get my hands on a 1" integrated forks? idealy in chrome. It's to replace bianchi forks that got buggered in an accident.

Are you sure you had an integrated headset/frame/fork combo? What frameset is this from?

I just ask as most of the integrated stuff is 1 1/8", making 1" integrated forks (esp chrome) pretty damn rare and most likely custom.

Also because you're asking for 1" fork in Chrome for a Bianchi, I just wanted to check that you're not actually asking for a 1" threadless fork for a Bianchi Pista (ie not a Pista Concept)?

it's for the standard bianchi. i've realised that most integrated stuff is 1 1/8" - very annoying hence this post. so yeah, it is threadless but it looks like head tube is too wide at the top and botom to fit the threadless headsets that i;ve seen - looks like its's be design for an integrated headset. or am i wrong with this assumption and it's possible to change the type of headset for the frame.

VP VP-A34C AheadSet, 1" threadless. When you say too wide to fit what you've "seen".. have you tried to actually fit a headset yet? Get a 1" threadless headset and try fitting it..

well.... i got a threaded fork and headset thinking it would be a simple case of replaceing everything but nothing seemed to fit. the errors of my way and misconceptions have been resolved swiftly by a friend of mine who i didn;t realise worked in a bike shop for over 4 years. i hadn't realised that the bearing cups were not part of the frame (i thought it was integrated because they fitted so well and were coloured exactly). anyway, we've bashed them out and fitted everything so it's all sorted. fuck me, i learnt alot from the butt monkey in such a short period of time (funny how some things seem so obvious when it's pointed out to you). i'll try and bother him first before hasseling you fine people in future.
