Seriously, Paul-Michel, I think you have grossly misjudged how this forum works. Please, just spend a little bit of time actually looking at other threads before starting your own. This is a forum for adult cyclists in London who are not afraid to think for themselves. You seem to lack this ability.

I think the major weakness of getting too scared by the docs words is that, based on this, we really should be wearing helmets wherever we walk, which is ridiculous.

However, we are also a lot less likely to fall over when walking.

Paul-Michel, have you not see the 3-4 other stupid helmet debate threads, and brake/brakeless debate threads that have popped up in the last week??????????????

Had first day in on the bag today - very much enjoyed it. Certainly with the weight it was a bigger workout on the legs - I had to take lots in. But it was remarkable how well it stayed balanced on the back, didnt move about at all.

I actually found that it improved balance overall, which seems odd.
