  • Max I know someone is her Concierge when she stays in London, apparently she used to be nice and say hi to him but last time she came she was an horror, refused to speak to anyone and demanded about £500 of free shit inducing £50 candles from Harrods at 9 at night. I'll see if I can find out when she's next here and you can do a wicked big fixie skid up to her and propose.

I can't overestimate how good Rihanna smells

You serious? NICE! Let me know ;-)

  • A tad creepy max but it made me laugh

  • Stalkers wet dream

  • Fleetwood Mac:

A noun meaning to urinate and flatulate simultaneously. The meaning is derived from the Fleetwood Mac song "Dreams", in which Stevie Nicks sings, "Thunder only happens when it's raining" Nicknames include: "Fleetwood" or "Stevie Nicks".

    I love that site.

    I just spat pasta out.

    Haha!

    (nervous laughter)

  • My mountain bike and it's ability to dwarf normal bikes:

  • niner

  • My ISP and the new amazing deal they just offered me, for a price cheaper than the current plan,
better speeds, better contention ratio, new hardware and more.
    Joy.

  • they just offered it to you out of the blue?

  • My friend called up virgin the last week because he broke his tv remote, mentioned that his internet was a bit slow and they upgraded him to 20mbs for an extra £2 a month. no idea how he sung that

  • yeah i was calling up because our current modem is sheit (original adsl usb modem from 2004) and was hoping to get a free hardware upgrade because of the constant disconnects(amongst other complaints) which would've fixed our problem.

Get through to billing enquiries get talking to the irish call centre guy, says they can do it, we get talking bout ireland n some netowrking shit, and he tells me i could be getting better downloading speeds for our money, even less money actually.

  • Oranges (the fruit you peel) are awesome atm.

  • i still quite like fruit with berry added to the ended on their name.

  • occasionally splurging on a little light bike maintenance in a lbs as a treat!

yesterday, after a crappy day at crappy work, for the price of £19, i rode away from the london bicycle repair shop with my slack chain tightened, my clanging mudguards silenced and refettled, my sticky headset set up perfectly and best of all, my rapidly unfurling offcuts of leather bar tape replaced with brand new bright turquoise grips. found they'd also adjusted my brakes, lubed my chain and tightened a creaky crank bolt.

flew home with a frosty tailwind in near silent, clangless joy.

  • I love the special needs dude that collects trolleys in Waitrose-
he walks around wishing everyone a nice weekend on monday,
being friendly to the fat dobbers like a ray of sunshine.

  • i like clapping to day, not sure if i love it yet.

Yeah that's my uncle. You should see what he he like when he opens his christmas presents!!!

People also come to watch him play pool. Does a lap of honor round the pub every time he pockets a ball !!

  • that I got my charges reversed

  • I fuckin' love riding my bike and I cannot wait for Spring and all the LFGSS rides to kick off! Fuckin' brill... should be a good year for cycling.

  • Josh

Just start organising some rides now.

I had one of those "I fucking love cycling" moments today (actually 3 hours of them). Simple pleasures for a simple man such as myself.

  • Ok then... I really want to do the Islay whisky ride this year, badly. Shall we get that on the go again?

  • as i am off the booze...

  • Cycling slowly.

Used to always go on the main roads for commuting, and they're boring so you go fast (it's relative, I cycle slow). Lately I have really enjoyed meandering back streets with no precise idea of route. It feels good to know the city well enough that you just sort of aim for a particular bridge or whatever, and weave through to get there, especially nice when it's night time and the quiet streets are really quiet, and you cycle real slow and look around at all the nice stuff and little goings on. Feeling the love for london, right there.

Took me almost an hour to get from kingsx to stockwell a couple of nights ago, but I was happy when I got there!

  • It's essential to get lost in London every once in a while.

  • ^This. ^^ and this
