  • buying an album on vinyl and not getting a download code with it. What if I want to listen to it in the car or on run?
    I knew CDs were king.

  • If you want to be even more confused, put a tape around your waist and observe how little your actual waist size corresponds to your jean size. Some high street brands deduct four inches from real size to their brand size.

  • Same with buying a dead tree book and not getting a kindle/whatever version. I want a book to put on my shelf so people know I read books, then a version to actually read because books are too heavy for my delicate wrists!

  • You still play a library of downloaded music? You're in a minority with cassettes and maybe minidisc.

  • What's a CD?

  • I see I'll get no sympathy from the young guns in here

  • I'm with you - still using my iPod classic for some stuff. Gets odd looks on t'train...

  • What's a CD?

Its like an IRL NFT, but of music.

  • Is music that stuff in the background of tiktoks?

  • I was with a Swiss friend who runs a few record labels the other week. He overheard a French girl say to her father outside a record shop in Camden“look it’s a shop selling those old fashioned big cds”.

  • Also why the fuck do trouser sizes go up in 2” increments?

I always seem to be right in the middle between sizes and usually have to have the waist adjusted, I’ve even seen bigger gaps once above a certain size.
I guess it’s all down to percentages of buyers vs price point et cetera.

  • Vanity sizing is really frustrating

  • Women's sizing - where all the proportion variables of a human body are summed up in a single number (which goes up in increments of 2)

IKR? If I put my numbers into an online calculator, I'm a UK 22 for my bust and waist but a 14 for my hips...wtaf does that even mean and how is that helpful? Its all the more confusing because my waist size and hip size are the same in cm.

Edit: Ah no, my mistake...i'm a 22 all the way through.

Doesn;t explain why this size 22 dress doesn't fit though

    probably the raging hard-on.

  • or the beer belly

  • Ha ha. You made me spit my lapsang souchong out.

  • In all seriousness, if you post some pics we can give better advice on getting the right fit.

  • The term 'brifters'

  • If you want to be even more confused, put a tape around your waist and observe how little your actual waist size corresponds to your jean size.

Apparently, the circumference of your waist, and your waist size in trousers are different things. Learnt that at the weekend fron the new tailor in Greenwich market. Nice chap.

  • This also varies by how high/low you wear them.

  • Sweet Caroline. I’d pay to never hear it again.

  • Bah, bah, bah!

  • So good so good so good!

  • It's Daniel Friebe. His whiny tone rips my knitting out.

The untimely departure of Richard Moore, whom I did enjoy listening to, puts whino-saurus less on the fringe and more front of centere mores the pity.
