• You could just have it dipped again? I don't think it makes it a great deal more expensive

  • Mainly to try and disguise the branding to deter thieves (as it'll be her everyday commuter), but also I think she'd prefer a bit of colour to the raw ti finish. Rather than powder coating I was thinking of getting some sort of coloured adhesive vinyl(?) to go around the three main tubes of the frame.

That won't fool a trained eye for a second; any ti showing will give the game away in a heartbeat.

  • Following up from my last post, I ordered some samples and have done a couple of test strips to see how they look/stick to the frame. Pretty happy with the outcome. Think I'm going to decide on a pink and a green and do a big block on each of the two main tubes, then put some transparent frame protection tape over them to make them last a bit longer. Hope she's happy with the outcome!

  • Where did you order from and is it easy to put on? Do you just stick it on?

I am building an ally frame and want to change colour but not wanting to paint because I'll make a very bad job of it.

  • They were from wrapdirect.com. Very easy to stick on, they are just thin adhesive vinyl that you peel the backing sheet off and then apply. They do cheap samples if you want to get a small size to try our first

  • Nice one thank you
